Brookfield Renewable Partners agreed to acquire a 12.45% minority stake in four operational U.K. offshore wind farms from Ørsted in a transaction valued at about $2.3 billion, covering assets with a combined capacity of roughly 3.5 GW.
Ørsted will retain a 37.55% stake and continue operating the wind farms, which include Hornsea 1, Hornsea 2, Walney Extension, and Burbo Bank Extension.
