MidOcean Energy, formed and managed by EIG, has agreed to acquire JERA's 0.417% stake in the Gorgon LNG project and 0.735% stake in the Ichthys LNG project, increasing MidOcean's interest in Gorgon to 1.417%. The deal strengthens MidOcean's exposure to large-scale, long-life LNG assets operated by Chevron.
