National Fuel Gas agreed to acquire the Ohio natural gas utility business of CenterPoint Energy for $2.62 billion.
The business operates about 5,900 miles of pipelines and serves roughly 335,000 customers in Ohio, with the deal expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
