Warburg Pincus has agreed to acquire Network Plus, a Manchester-based utility services operator, from current owner OMERS Private Equity and other shareholders.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Network Plus, established in 2000 and headquartered in Worsley, Greater Manchester, provides maintenance, enhancement and operational services across water, wastewater, gas, power and telecommunications infrastructure throughout the United Kingdom. The company serves major utility operators and regional water authorities, positioning it as a critical service provider within the country's essential infrastructure ecosystem.
OMERS Private Equity acquired Network Plus approximately six years ago. The deal represents an exit for the Canadian pension fund's infrastructure arm following what the firm views as operational improvements and market expansion during its investment period.
The deal is expected to close in the coming months, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. Deal advisors and specific timing details remain to be confirmed.
